This was such a fun family session to photograph and in such an amazing location. The Williamsons family have had a holiday home on the banks of Loch Earn in Perthshire for 30 years and three generations have enjoyed holidays there over the years. To mark their anniversary I was commissioned to photograph them in the environment that meant so much to them.

We shot of a few different locations starting on the banks of the loch then heading in to a small wooded area where we found the most stunning tree to use as a stage to photograph the whole family. The conditions couldn’t have been better, despite taking shelter a couple of times for passing showers.

I love the variety of pictures we shot in a relatively short time and they were such lovely people to work with. I was blown away by the Rob Mulholland statue on the St Fillans side of the loch – well worth a visit if you’re in the area. It’s a stunning piece of work and sits in the landscape beautifully.
