Here’s a wee taster from my styled shoot yesterday at Fingask Castle just outside Perth. We were blessed with the most fantastic unseasonable weather with beautiful light that could only be described as epic at times. I shot a mix of film and digital, the films are already away and should hit my lab in the States later this week. I cannot wait to see the results but in the meantime this digital image isn’t too shabby to be getting on with. You can view more photos here!
Many thanks to our fantastic models for the day, Laura and Paul and also to Jan from Fingask who looked after us all.
Thanks also too

Stunning!!! Love the composition and lighting! Great job!
Thanks so much for your kind comment – got to love ambient light!
Not too shabby by half. That light is gorgeous and those rays give it an extra lift. Can I ask, is the model lit by anything other than with a reflector? Stunning image making.
Thanks for your kind comments Rob! It was all shot with natural light with a large California Sunbounce reflector using the gold side – they’re reasonably expensive but put a fantastic light back in to the subject.
Just googled that. Reasonably expensive but another to add to the list! Really loving the quality of the light in this. Thanks for coming back to me.
